At Leonard Advisory Group, living with intent means being present where it matters most — right here at home. We’re committed to making a meaningful impact through purposeful partnerships, local involvement, and service that reflects the values we bring to every client relationship.
At Leonard Advisory Group, we believe in building more than financial plans—we believe in building stronger communities. At our 10th Annual Client Appreciation Event held at Narcisi Winery, we had the incredible privilege of partnering with Variety – the Children’s Charity to bring joy and independence to local children through their My Bike® Program.
On Tuesday evening, representatives from Variety, including Tom Baker and Kayla Haynes joined us to present several adaptive bikes to children with disabilities—bikes that were made possible thanks to the generosity of our clients, friends, and team. What began as a hopeful conversation in January about raising funds for just one bike turned into something extraordinary. By the end of the evening, Leonard Advisory Group had raised and donated over $15,000, enough to sponsor six adaptive bikes.
The true thanks, however, belong to our incredible community of clients and supporters who helped make this happen. Together, we are making a lasting difference in the lives of children and families who need it most.
Thank you for joining us in giving back.
At Leonard Advisory Group, giving back is a cornerstone of who we are—and our recent Annual Shred Day Event was a powerful example of that commitment in action. This year, we were proud to partner with North Hills Community Outreach (NHCO) to collect essential cleaning products for families who rely on their food pantry services.
While our clients and community members took care of their document shredding needs, they also showed up in a big way—donating dozens of bags filled with much-needed household supplies. Since cleaning products can’t be purchased with SNAP benefits, these donations directly supported families in maintaining safe, healthy homes.
Jacqlyn Boggs and Vicki Burstynowicz joined us from NHCO onsite with a resource table, sharing the impact of community support and connecting with those eager to learn more. Thanks to everyone who participated, we were able to make a meaningful difference for local families—and that’s something worth celebrating.
Funds raised through registration and donations help to ensure the continued maintenance and improvement of this treasured local resource. In 2024 alone, the Montour Trail Council (MTC) resurfaced over seven miles of trail, with costs exceeding $16,000 per mile. Funds also support critical trail needs like fencing repairs, updated signage, fuel and machinery maintenance, and the upkeep of 26 chemical toilets along the trail, which costs the MTC $38,000 annually.
We’re proud to contribute to keeping the Montour Trail safe, clean, and accessible for our community. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or a weekend trail-goer, Tour the Montour is a celebration of the outdoors, health, and the power of local support. Now entering its 23rd year, the 2025 Tour will take place on Saturday, September 13, beginning at Mile Marker 0 in Coraopolis. This family-friendly bike ride invites participants of all ages to enjoy a fully supported day on the Montour Trail, with rest stops, snacks, post-ride lunch, and a commemorative t-shirt for all riders.
At Leonard Advisory Group, the season of giving is a time to reflect on what matters most—community, compassion, and care. During our Annual Holiday Party, we partnered with Christopher’s Kitchen, a nonprofit that provides free food to families who are caring for loved ones in the hospital.
Thanks to the generosity of our clients, friends, and team, we collected a wide variety of shelf-stable food donations to help stock hospital pantries. These items ensure that caregivers—who often spend long hours at a loved one’s bedside—have access to nourishment and support during challenging times.
Every item donated served as more than just a meal; it was a message of hope to those facing uncertainty. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed and to Christopher’s Kitchen for the critical work they do year-round.
Together, we made a meaningful impact—one meal, one family, one act of kindness at a time.
Each year, students have the opportunity to step outside the classroom and into nature at the Kelleys Island Field Station, a one-of-a-kind educational camp experience led by Jackie Taylor. Located on scenic Kelleys Island in Lake Erie, the camp blends hands-on outdoor learning with a focus on STEM, wildlife education, and responsible land and resource use.
Jackie Taylor brings science to life through engaging activities that inspire curiosity and encourage practical understanding of the world around us. Campers explore the island’s ecosystems, study local wildlife, and learn how natural systems function—all in a supportive, fun, and memorable setting.
Backed by sound educational practices and developed with input from experts across the country, the Field Station’s curriculum helps young minds connect scientific principles with real-life applications. It’s more than a camp—it’s an experience that encourages personal growth, respect for the outdoors, and critical thinking.
